Control of the compaction process of green moulding sand

ABSTRACT

The paper reported the results of the mathematical modelling and simulation of the compaction process of moulding sand. By a new developed method it is possible to measure the behaviour of the sand during its compaction in the casting production. The results of the simulation and the experimental dates were compare to valid the mathematical model.
